The Live Your Kurgo Adventure campaign is a 2015 adventure contest in which people can enter to win a $5,000 sponsorship from Kurgo to go on a proposed adventure with their dog. Based strongly off the brand message of getting outside with your dog and going together, this campaign seeks to promote to participants from a more adventurous category while opening a conversation about the many adventures people can go on with their dogs.
For this campaign, I designed the logo and the accompanying collateral to promote the contest. This included postcards to be handed out at tradeshows, t-shirts to be worn by our crew, and banner ads for web marketing.
The design of the logo was based on old Girl Scout and Boy Scout badges, and National Park WPA posters. I illustrated the logo to show adventurous people and their dogs outdoors, and as an illustration it was easy to carry the logo design into creating the rest of the collateral. In addition, I created four other badges to tie into the logo that illustrate four categories of adventure that people can go on with their dogs: Running, Hiking/Climbing, Canoeing/Boating, and Biking.
I designed and coded this mini site using HTML and CSS (via Big Commerce) on our existing Kurgo website to introduce the four winners. I designed the website under the direction of the Creative Director and within the established branding for the contest. Check it out live here.
